Favorite Things

Here a few favorite things that have made me smile over the past couple of days.

• Hearing Hayden squeal in delight. It reminds me that we have a little girl in the house. I've been told little boys don't do that.
• Playing a simple game of Peek-a-boo with Hayden and seeing those pearly whites with her sweet joyful grin.
• Hayden stealing Ty's treat, and seeing that face once she put it in her mouth... priceless. Ty was so thankful I retrieved his treat for him.
• Parchment paper, what a glorious invention. We made some homemade cookies today; which brings me to my next bullet.
• Homemade cookies fresh out of the oven.
• A relaxing weekend with Chris full of laughter and smiles.
• A great sermon this past weekend with the simple point that God is here with us right now, not just in troubled times, or just in the good times, but always.
