Our Happy 4th

We made a quick trip up to Amarillo to visit with my grandparents and extended family for the fourth of July weekend. We had a great time and enjoyed great conversations and fun games. Hayden was a rockstar on the airplane, but we were still thankful we had gigi and grandad to help us out. Here are some of our favorite pics.

my first flight
grandad's lap was the comfiest on the plane.
here we go....
great grandad enjoyed tickling her all weekend long.
i have a picture of me that was taken in this exact same spot at my grandparents so I thought we should have one of Hayden too. sweet memories at my grandma and grandad's house. It was fun to share those with Hayden.
The infamous hot- wheels at great grandma and grandad's. I spent hours on that thing in their drive way. Hayden enjoyed it too.
Testing the swings occupant limit. :)

When we made it home the morning of the 4th we headed out with some friends to Forney for a Fourth of July celebration. It was in one word, amazing! We had so much fun. Proof is in the pictures. Hayden didn't want to leave.
Round 3 of 10 on the slide. Hayden loved every second and kept wanting more.
Playing bag toss with dad! Thought this was a cute picture.

Getting ready for fireworks. Hayden did great! She loved them at the beginning, then she fell asleep, then I took her inside and she woke up. Crazy little one! We had a great time and I was reminded why the fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays.

Hey Emily! This is Deborah, Lauren's friend. I am a big blogger and found you on here. Lauren said she did not think you would mind if I followed you. Anyway, your little girl is super cute! You should find and post the picture of you when you were a little girl and sitting on the porch too by her picture so you can compare. P.S. Your new hair cut looks great on you!
